The Foot Mechanic was founded and is owned and operated by Dr. Brett Purdom. Dr. Purdom received his Bachelors Degree in Biology from Washington State University, his Masters Degree and Doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. . Dr. Purdom has worked in Sports Medicine at the University of Colorado (CU) Sports Medicine Clinic for the past 12 years. Dr. Purdom has also taught Human Anatomy, Exercise Physiology and Biomechanical Kinesiology through the Biology Department at the University of Denver, and has worked as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Physical Therapy School at the University of Colorado. Dr. Purdom is a Certified Athletic Trainer and is credentialed as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
